Ran to 13th E and South Temple Park and did 10 hill strides, ran up to cemetery and up death hill, got water, ran back to East shriners way. I did 3x300 at 54-56 each. Did 3 grass laps to get to 11.
Ran the new Region Course with the team, and honestly wasn't that impressed.. It will definetly be a change from last year. Then I did some strides to loosen up because I was feeling it in my hamstring again. Then did a 20 min Fartlek around the course, the boyos didn't want to push as hard as I did, so I gapped them and finished on my own. then added to 7 before I had to leave.
Ran to Liberty, 1 lap, 1 mile speed changes, 2 mile tempo at 12:26, which was like 4 seconds off last weeks because my hamstring was so tight. Then a 5:46 mile tempo after I loosened up. Finished the lap, ran back to East, added to 11. Core!
First day of School, first day of XC practice. Ran to Sugar House, 2 sets of continuous hills on the white tree hill, went around the river, and ran back to East. Did grass laps with Diwas to get to 9.
